Warm & Woolly Crocheted Poncho

I spent many evenings working on these 2 pieces and I was very pleased with the end result. This warm and woolly poncho is a unique piece as it features a matching scarf which is not attached to the poncho. The scarf offers extra warmth on those chilly days, but the poncho can certainly be worn by itself. Both are hand crocheted, made from Briggs and Little worsted wool, and the mohair accents which make the poncho soft and give it the added depth of color, are from Knitpicks

For simple instructions on how to make yourself a poncho from rectangles, in any size that you need, I have found this source to be a great guide. I used a 5mm crochet hook with rows of 1/2 double and single crochet stitches.
