Creole Spice Blend Recipe





This spice blend is easy to make and a great addition to many dishes including our favorite beef stew. I also use a small amount mixed with flour to dust chicken wings before deep frying. This seasoning is also a great way to jazz up potatoes. The next time that you plan to include oven fried potatoes with your meal, simply combine some of this creole blend with oil and chopped fresh coriander before placing them in the oven. Use your imagination to enjoy this spicy seasoning.

Ingredients:

2 tbl paprika
2 tbl salt
2 tbl garlic powder
1 tbl black pepper
1 tbl onion powder
1 tbl cayenne pepper
1 tbl dried oregano
1 tbl dried thyme
Mix all of the above ingredients thoroughly. Store in an air tight container. Makes about 2/3 of a cup.
